Best way to get involved
Hi there fellow Slackers,
I'm a big fan of Slackware and have been using it for quite some time now. One of the questions that always poked around in my mind was what is the best way to get involved/help out with Slackware? So far I made this list:
So I'm wondering what can I add to this list? Are there any services that the slackware community needs? Being a web developer maybe I could help out with some of that? I'm natively Bosnian but speak decent English and have been involved with l10n efforts before in other projects. Is this an area that needs help? Feedback is greatly appreciated and, as always, thanks goes to all of the slackware community for making this wonderful operating system. Slack on :-) |
There is a new wiki. I'm sure there are articles that you can to add to it. .
http://docs.slackware.com/ More info on there. http://docs.slackware.com/slackware:community http://docs.slackware.com/slackdocs:contributing Other than that, just try to scratch a personal itch. If there is something that you would like to see, there is bound to be someone else out there too. |
I didn't know about this wiki.

Perhaps Slackware How-Tos in your native language. I'm sure a "Why Slackware" or "Installing Slackware" would be welcome on the wiki.

I have only written one article so far. I'm hoping I find time to do some more. I have some ideas. |
