1. OpenOffice, nothing else matchs it
2. aterm, transparency is sexy
3. Firefox, Its just cool
4. Thunderbird, Who doesn't like Thunder? :P
5. The GIMP, It works and its feature packed
6. best when done by hand .
7. ncftp, SSH and aMule .
8. Gaim and BitchX
9. Nvu and pico
10. GCC!

I prefer Terminal stuff, pico is an awesome text editor :}.
