best removable storage manager

What would be the best manager for removable storage devices in slackware?
1. plug it in
2. make a mountpoint - configurable
3. make a fstab entry - configurable
4. fsck or not - configurable
5. mount or not - configurable

What do you use or recommend?

Thanks,
But I don't want pre-configured mountpoints to reside on my filesystem.
And I want to control wether the partitions get mounted or not (preferably not)
And I don't want lines in my fstab that point to nowhere any time...
