It looks like you are missing the google-chrome-pam-solibs package.
Have you installed the rest of the packages in /extra/google-chrome/?

ftp://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/slackware/s...2.1-i486-1.txz

Just imagine how many fixes have been made between
chromium-9.0.597.107.tar.bz2 18-Feb-2011 02:46 135M
and
chromium-12.0.742.112.tar.bz2 24-Jun-2011 01:29 144M
plus it saves a bit of time.

Hi Andrew:

To install the newer version of chromium, do I need to uninstall the one I just installed?

Thanks,

I would just install google-chrome, you can have both chrome and chromium, they don't conflict.

google-chrome-stable_current_i386.deb is 12.0.742.112

Can I use the existing slackbuild script with the newest source tarball? Will the dependencies installed for version 9.something be sufficient for version 12.something?

You can configure the build, but not through changing the slackbuild.

You have to unpack the source, change build/common.gypi, and then repack it again.

I did that to remove the dependencies on gnome-keyring.
