bash_profile

In other distribution there is a file .profile(or bash_profile), where u can edit and tell what to do when the bash shell is opening.
In slackware I don't have it, it is in another place?

Simply make this file, it will work.

Slack uses the file /etc/profile and the directory /etc/profile.d for system wide defaults...

For personal settings you can make your own ~/.profile, you will have to create the file yourself... it is not done for you. If you want to have an example .profile for new users you can place one in /etc/skell

As long as you give the -m switch to useradd. And remove the extra "l" from skell. /etc/skel is the directory. ;-)
