bad-timed question about current

This has nothing to do with the DistroWatch article!
I am interested in running current on my 350 mhz machine with 256megs ram.
I have 12.1 on a laptop and 12.2 on 4 other systems. I just installed 12.2 on this machine (IBM Personal Computer 300GL).
Besides answering my own curiousity, would there be any help/value to developers?

Thanks
