backup of kalarm settings

Hi folks. I'd like to be able to backup the settings for kalarm but can't seem to find them. Same for Dolphin. Anyone know where they might be located?

Because you do not say, what version of slackware you are running, the generic way:

Code:
thirteen_engines [~] find ~ -type -f | grep -i kalarm
thirteen_engines [~] find ~ -type -f | grep -i dolphin
I strongly believe it is not Slackware 13.0 or 13.1 because kalarm is still a bug graveyard in KDE4 :/

Thanks for the reply.

Actually, it is Slackware 13.0 that I'm using and I have been using kalarm for quite some time now without any problems at all (except backing up its settings). What bugs specifically should I look for?

Have a look at the files ~/.kde/share/config/kalarmrc and ~/.kde/share/config/dolpinrc. You could test if theses are the right files by making changes to dolpin and kalarm and saving the changes then copying these files to another user and see if the changes are propagated.

The calendar file in ~/.kde/share/apps/kalarm was exactly what I was looking for. However, ~/.kde/share/config/dolphin.rc wasn't. I like to save my favorite places in Dolphin and was looking for where these are stored. Never did find it. Anyway, I've upgraded to Slackware 13.1 now and kalarm is set up the way it was. As for Dolphin, it won't be difficult to manually save my favs. I'm still curious though about where they are saved to.

What favorites do you mean? The ones, that are listed in the places panel? If so, this has nothing to do with dolphin, because these settings can be used by every kde/qt application.

Edit: It is
Code:
~/.kde/share/apps/kfileplaces/bookmarks.xml
