avidemux compile error using slackbuilds.org

Hi,

I'm trying to build avidemux using the slackbuild at slackbuilds.org. I have installed the listed dependencies. The build fails with:

Code:
cd /tmp/SBo/avidemux-2.5.2/build/avidemux/ADM_coreImage/src && /usr/bin/c++   -DADM_coreImage_EXPORTS -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -D_LARGE_FILES -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -O2 -march=i486 -mtune=i686 -O3 -DNDEBUG -fPIC -I/tmp/SBo/avidemux-2.5.2/avidemux -I/tmp/SBo/avidemux-2.5.2/build/config -I/tmp/SBo/avidemux-2.5.2/avidemux/ADM_core/include -I/tmp/SBo/avidemux-2.5.2/avidemux/ADM_coreUI/include -I/tmp/SBo/avidemux-2.5.2/avidemux/ADM_coreImage/include -I/tmp/SBo/avidemux-2.5.2/avidemux/ADM_coreAudio/include -I/tmp/SBo/avidemux-2.5.2/avidemux/ADM_libraries/ADM_utilities -I/tmp/SBo/avidemux-2.5.2/avidemux/ADM_libraries/ffmpeg -I/tmp/SBo/avidemux-2.5.2/avidemux/ADM_libraries/ffmpeg/libavutil -I/tmp/SBo/avidemux-2.5.2/avidemux/ADM_libraries/ffmpeg/libpostproc   -o CMakeFiles/ADM_coreImage.dir/ADM_vidFieldASM.cpp.o -c /tmp/SBo/avidemux-2.5.2/avidemux/ADM_coreImage/src/ADM_vidFieldASM.cpp
/tmp/SBo/avidemux-2.5.2/avidemux/ADM_coreImage/src/ADM_vidFieldASM.cpp: Assembler messages:

Can someone help me with this?

Thanks,
Brian

The version of avidemux that's on SBo at the moment (2.5.2) is unfortunately broken on i486. You can get a SlackBuild and associated files for a newer version of avidemux that isn't broken (2.5.5) from Ponce's github repository:

https://github.com/Ponce/slackbuilds...mux.SlackBuild
https://github.com/Ponce/slackbuilds.../avidemux.info
https://github.com/Ponce/slackbuilds...build115.patch

Ponce does a great job, the first thing I do when I have problems with a SlackBuild is look to see if Ponce has a fix for it

Alternatively get a working SlackBuild from here: http://taper.alienbase.nl/mirrors/pe...ilds/avidemux/ - it includes ready-made packages for Slackware 13.37 32-bit and 64-bit.
