automounting options in Slackware 9.1
I recently migrated to Slackware 9.1 from Mandrake, and I noticed that unlike Mandrake, Slackware doesn't use supermount to automatically mount and unmount removable media. I would recompile the kernel with supermount, but I've heard it's rather buggy. (not that I had any problems with it in Mandrake...) What other options are there for automatic mounting and unmounting of removable media? Thanks.

I like the supermount patch. It works for me. Where did you read about bugs? I've not noticed any problems, but may I don't know what to look for. My kids like it cos they can just plug in an mp3 player and drag and drop music into it.

Hmm, maybe I'll go ahead and try out supermount on slackware anyways, unless somebody else has something to say. I heard about supermount being buggy elsewhere in these forums (don't remember where). However, I've heard about supermount-ng, which is supposed to have fixed a lot of the bugs. Perhaps the poster was referring to an older version of supermount? (correct me if I am wrong)
