automount cdrom
 
I notice in some other distros that a cd can be mounted upon insertion. Is this possible in Slack 9? How?

Theres supermount and a few other kernel patches, but either they dont work w/ the 2.4.20 kernel, or with Slack 9.

Sorry, Ive looked into this, but maybe you'll have better luck. Try Freshmeat.net and search "Auto mount cd".

Supermount is evil ... specially using
floppies.
