automatic ipv6 module loading issue

Hi there,

i was running 2.4.29 kernel but
I have just compiled new kernel 2.6.11.2 and after reboot it loads ipv6 module assign ipv6 address to my nic together with ipv4.
I don't need ipv6. how do i config ipv6 not to load at boot time.
in /etc/rc.d/rc.modules is no reference to load ipv6.
how is it possible that ipv6 module load at boot. is there any other config file to load it. I searched all /etc for it and i haven't found anything.
it also loads agpgart but i use nvidia driver.

thanx for help, Mio

The agpgart module gets loaded by /etc/rc.d/rc.modules, so look
in their and comment it out. As for ipv6, it might be getting loaded
by hotplug. If hotplug is loading the module, then you can tell it not
to by added it to /etc/hotplug/blacklist.
