Autoloading module at boot

Hi!

I searched the forum for some hint about autoloading a module at boot-up and I found the tip to edit /etc/modules.preload... however I can nowhere find this file on my system so I figure it's like that on another distro.

Can anyone tell me how to autoload modules on boot?

Thanks! :)

add a modprobe <your module>line in /etc/rc.d/rc.modules
