auto start when login

hi!everytime I login to KDE *kfm, mozilla and konsole start automatically* (by themselves).how I can stop this?thanks!

xPAGANx 08-13-2004 08:38 AM

try running "rm -r ~/.kde"

That might fix it but your current kde settings will be deleted.

Good luck

login as usual, close everything down, then logout via the kde menu. should fix it.

Try this: close the programs you don't want. When you shut down, check the save settings box. Next time you log on those programs should not start.

The "save settings" box is no longer there. (At least on my KDE 3.2.3 "Logout" gives only End Session, Off, Restart).

They moved the functionality to Control Center > KDE Components > Session Manager > "On Login" section. There, choose "Start with empty session"
