One thing you may love or hate about Discord is that it sends out email alerts from any activity on any channel you've joined by default. That can be very useful or very annoying depending on your usage. A small but yet unsolved issue is Discord, unlike most comm apps does not have a testing setup page for your microphone that allows a user to achieve desired results unless actually using it on a channel with others.
