ATI Rage 128 in Slack 10

I've been using Fedora Core 3 for a while now and have decided to move to Slackware, but my X display is only capable of a 1024x768 resolution. It's using the "VESA Framebuffer" driver in xorg.conf. Does slackware have a driver for the ATI Rage 128? If so, what changes need to be made to xorg.conf to make it work? Has anyone gotten one of these cards to work?

Yeah, the Rage is greatly supported. It even has kernel-level accelleration support.

The X.Org driver is called "ati." You should check your kernel config to see if DRI is compiled in, and load the driver corresponding to the Rage 128. Once you do that, and have xorg.conf set to load "dri", the card should work wonderfully (well, as good as it can, it's an old card. )

I also have an ATi Rage card (specifically a Rage 128 Pro Ultra -- whatever that means) There is a r128 driver in Xorg, with which I have 3d support and can run boson pretty well.
