Cool ATI drivers slackware12.2

I'm unable to find ATI drivers for slackware12.2.
Can some one please tell me where to get it from.

It would help if you provided information on your specific video card so we can better help you. I can tell you that this subject has been discussed extensively in this post.

I don't have an ATI card but it seems that it is a little more difficult to get these drivers working but not impossible. Check out the post above first and read the ATI specific section.

This along with the follow up posts in that thread should help you to get it working properly.

Hello basheer ,i have slack 12.1 here and i am almost sure the same goes for slack12.2 ;

As root in the terminal i use xorgconfig and since i have a radeon saphire i use the driver that slack provides which is "ati radeon generic" which is #7 in the list.

I get 1400 FPS with glxgears.........good luck
