could anyone give me some help to get the drivers to work properly when in init 4 since i have changed that to my default runlevel
the only config i ran was fglrxconfig and im running a 9600xt but like i said when im in "init 3" it works just fine i can startx ran glxgears and everything checked out fine but my default runlevel to boot to is 4
What is the problem with your login into init 4 runlevel ? Your log just show that DRI module is
missing, you could fix that with comment "load DRI" in /etc/X11/xorg.conf
If you could not start X, try to look at /etc/rc.d/rc.4 and comment lines that load the X session
manager, say comment GDM and KDM and try to boot in runlevel 4, if XDM fails, look at :
/var/log/Xorg.0.log
/var/log/Xorg.1.log
