Apache2 in Slackware 12.0

Since apache is upgraded to apache2 in Slackware 12.0, some configurations were changed. I have configured and run apache2 successfully in 12.0. However, I cannot get to my personal web page via "http://localhost/~username". This worked in 11.0, not in 12.0.

How can I get to my personal web page which is located in $HOME/public_html?

regards,

You probably need to enable the userdir option in your httpd.conf (or related configuration files). On some distros it maybe a matter of installing the apache userdir module.

Thanks. It works when I uncommented
"Include /etc/httpd/extra/httpd-userdir.conf"
