apache on slackware


I used Slackware 10 and I've setup apache. I was thought on what should be a good user and group to be used for running apache and what should be to give permission for files and folders in DocumentRoot. Some apache user's complicated on file permissions and etc.

Your post is not clear...
Standard apache install should works fine with user setting..
User nobody and gruop nobody is good for apache.
