You are using the httpd.conf file you copied over from a 32-bit Slackware perhaps?

On your slackware64 computer, a httpd.conf will have been installed that works. If it has been overwritten, just use "upgradepkg --reinstall" for the httpd package, or extract the httpd.conf file from that package manually.

i've reinstalled the apache but
...
Code:
bash-3.1# httpd
httpd: Syntax error on line 54 of /etc/httpd/httpd.conf: Cannot load /usr/lib/httpd/modules/mod_authn_file.so into server: /usr/lib/httpd/modules/mod_authn_file.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

when you install/upgrade a package your old configuration files won't get overwritten: they are saved as .new and you have to move in place of the old.

you have to backup your /etc/httpd/httpd.conf and then, from a root shell
Code:
mv /etc/httpd/httpd.conf.new /etc/httpd/httpd.conf
/etc/rc.d/rc.httpd start
