Anjuta package
As I was searching for a nice C/C++ IDE for GNOME, I came across Anjuta, which looked absolutely fabulous. However, I read that some people had trouble building it in Slack 9...so, I went on to stfw some more, and look what I found:
http://www.nondeus.org/ Very neat, he's made packages for both Anjuta 1.1.1 (beta) and libzvt. I've only tried it out briefly so far, but everything seems to be working as it should. There's some other goodies on that site as well. I just thought I'd mention this once in an own thread instead of bumping other ones. :) |
Thankyou so much! I was having the libzvt problem and this fixed it.
Now I can get on to coding.... -Flecko |
Thanks a lot, I wanted to test Anjuta and had that problem too :)

the only problem i had installing Anjuta and libzvt was the pkg_config_path was off.... all i needed to do was 'export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/lib/pkgconfig' and it was fine.

how come it doenst appear magically in my programming folder like it did last time :P

Thanks a lot!
I though I'd have to install all those gnome 1 stuff to run Anjuta in Slack 9. |
