I am goin to be gettin Slack soon and I was wondering if any of you had any problems running AA with Slack? I have been playing it for a week or so and am enjoying it, so i want to make sure it doesnt have too many problems that i have to fix..=P

One problem you may have is openGL support...

What graphics card do you have? if nvidia, just go to nvidia.com, download the linux drivers, install them
sh NVIDIA-x.x.x.....bin
and modify your /etc/X11/XF86Config 's graphics driver settings from
vga
to
nvidia,
as well as enabling GLX support (its all in the installation directory).

If you have an ati card, its a bit more difficault for it to work under slack.. but read the installation manuals..


Second possible problem...?
Sound? check that your sound is working under linux, and allocate alsa drivers properly..

I run it on Slackware 9 with no problems.
