alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such device


Ive updated slackware-current, new kernel is updated 2.6.21.3,

but i have a problem with alsa
i configured alsa with alsaconfig and i can hear sound no problem, but when i start alsamixer i got this msg alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such device

modules are loaded,

where the problem might be ?
