Alsa PulseAudio only headphones not working master channel

Hi,

I need some help with my sound.
When I run Windows 7 (dual boot) and after that I reboot to slackware everything is great. Sound works like it should, I can use my master channel for volume, etc.
When I suspend the system and wake him up, sometimes I don't have a sound or usually I can't use my master channel to change the volume - PCM is the one that works from that time.

Do you know how should I configure pulseaudio, alsa, udev, etc. to have sound server always working the same the way?

The only one thing I have problems with, is the input from my microphone. Build in works but the sound is very low, I can't boost it (don't know how to do it). When I connect my headphones with mic I can't get sound from that mic.

I did try to enable/disable options in alsamixer, etc.

Standard Slackware doesn't have PulseAudio. If you have PulseAudio on your system, either you installed it or some other large set of packages installed it for you. Do you have a version of Gnome installed?

What do you see when you run "alsamixer" from the command line? You should be to turn on any recording boost, if the card supports it, from there.

You have have your headphones connected to the Front Panel, make sure the Front Panel is not muted.

Hi,

I will write everything I did and I have.
First of all I have Alienware M17 with:
External Chassis Connections
(1x) HDMI 1.4 Output / 1.3 Input
(2x) Audio Out 1/8" Ports (One compatible with inline mic headset)
(1x) Line In Microphone 1/8" Port (retaskable for 5.1 analog audio output)

My sound card "Sound Core3D":
cat /proc/asound/cards

recording boost is turned on, everything is enabled and not mutted. I don't know why it's so difficult to configure sound.

Like someone said all the way in the beginning,
Code:
Standard Slackware doesn't have PulseAudio.
So either you added pulseaudio to your Slackware (with undefined result) or you are not even using Slackware but one of its derivatives.
Looking at your posts, you have alsa configured to use pulseaudio for output. Why don't you ask on a pulseaudio related mailinglist? I doubt that there will be much feedback here.
