thank you again!!how do you know what to google?i did a googlee search but didnt come up with aanything like this?

Google "82801h modprobe" or "82801h linux" and read a few of the entries, you WILL find the answer, after all you it is much more satisfying, and you learn more, when you find the answer yourself.

Or if you want you could just Google "82801h slackware" and read through the first entry.
