aircard 881, ttyUSB0 or ttyUSB2?

Hi all,

Does anyone uses sierra wireless aircard 881 pcmcia modem?
which one should I use as the modem?
/dev/ttyUSB0 or /dev/ttyUSB2?
this FAQ says I'm supposed
to use /dev/ttyUSB2, but a lot of people seem to use ttyUSB0.
I tried with pppd and they both seemed to work.

I notice a difference in minicom though, /dev/ttyUSB0
doesn't respond as I expected. The characters I type don't
show up on the screen, and only few of the AT commands work.
Does this mean anything?
And It's not like I can't connect to the net or anything, I'm
just curious.

regards,

adit

I just noticed something else,
max download speed is only 110KB/s.
When I use zte mf622 the download speed is around 200KB/s.

Anyone knows why?..
