Aid me recover from reboot.

Hi,

I have slackware server which I upgraded to current. After this I was doing stuff on it using SSH. I started to remove unneeded packages using pkgtool and then accidently issued "init 6" and system rebooted and now pkgtool won't work.

Pkgtool starts ok, but when I try to remove packages it just gives me the screen where it states that packages were removed correctly before I even get to choose any packages. It also crashes when I try to view the currently installed packages.

Any idea how to fix or should I just reinstall whole slackware and reupgrade? It's still a easy choice as I haven't done much on my server.

I'd start by re-installing pkgtool.

Cheers,
Eddie
