aic7xxx xfs.s


Hi, Trying to get slack 9.1 to install on my scsi drives but it wont let me access the drives windows can find them in a snap. But slack seems to be having trouble. Im trying to use the xfs.s to boot but doesnt seem to be working. Any ideas ? :/

The Scsi controller is an adaptec aic7890/7891 btw :P

You probably need to boot with adaptec.s kernel. Check the config file for the xfs.s kernel to see if it has support for aic7xxx. I think not.

What happens wen you try to install? What point do you get to in the installation?
