after 10.2 slack installation, console ok, but x'r not working
hi! I've just installed slackware 10.2 on my new pc, lilo (txt) is working, I'm logging in and the console is working too, but when I try to start x the screen is turning off and the green led on my IBM T86A monitor is turning orange, I don't know why it may be, my graphic card is geforce4 mx 440, please help, thanks

did you configure xorg? try xorgconfig I think (as root)

Easier to use 'xorgsetup', also as root. Faster, don't have the myriad of choices as 'xorgconfig', slightly easier for a newbie to use.
If 'xorgsetup' does not work, then by all means use 'xorgconfig'
