ADSL Modem on slackware

Hey!

I have the HUAWEI 810 DSL modem, i could install it on Slackware 10.2 but, i couldn´t on slackare 11.
Do you know if there are a new drive?
I searched on the web and i couldn´t find anything new about it.
I only found that there are a new module for eagle usb driver that is already include in S 11, do you know how i could configure out this?

Thanks!

That's the most common dsl modem here in Argentina, and Russia. It's very easy to have it working if you download the latest eagle usb sources (http://download.gna.org/eagleusb/eag...-2.3.3.tar.bz2) ; configure, compile and install, following the instructions in the README file.

I could configure this modem over the Kernel 2.4.33, but i couldn't run this modem over the Kernel 2.6.17 or 2.6.18 that come with Slackware.
I know that this kernel come with the UEAGLE module, but, how i could configure out this module?

Thanks a lot!!

żueagle doesn't come with eagleconfig? żmay be ueagleconfig? The old Eagle module, had eagleconfig, and I remember then you have to run startadsl.
