adding specific libraries to path in .bashrc

Hey guys whats going on. Probably a pretty easy question for most of the guru's on here.

I just installed genymotion and its asking for libaudio.so.2. I was wondering if I could put it somewhere on my system and add it to my .bashrc and how I would go about doing that(i.e. the syntax) and if that would even be the right way of doing things.

Also on a side note was wondering if I could do this with other libraries in the future as I am starting to get into LXC.

Considering I just erased my home directory (luckily backed up recently) while writing a script for a cron job that will email me my daily to do lists and then delete the file in the local directory (there was the oops in the syntax). So every time a new todo list is found in the folder it automatically emails the new list to me. Hence I can access it anywhere across all my devices. Don't like google tasks plus this is so much c00l3r

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You really should keep libs in reasonably standard locations but if you don't you can add the relevent directory that the lib is in to the /etc/ld.config file then issue as root the ldconfig command that will letvthe system know where to look for extra libs.
