Hello All,
Trying to figure how to add my dvdwriter to my fstab so I can use it. My cd writer is /dev/hdc and my dvdwriter shows on start up as /dev/hdd but is not included in my fstab and in kde will not let me access it. Here's my fstab any help greatly appreciated.

./dev/hda2 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/hda1 / reiserfs defaults 1 1
/dev/hda3 /home reiserfs defaults 1 2
/dev/hda4 /usr/local reiserfs defaults 1 2
/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom auto auto,user,ro 0 0
/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto auto,user 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0

as root

mkdir /mnt/cdwriter
mkdir /mnt/dvdwriter
pico /etc/fstab


once in there add the folowing lines

/dev/hdc /mnt/cdwriter auto noauto,user,ro 0 0
/dev/hdd /mnt/dvdwriter auto noauto,user,ro 0 0

then press control+x.
