Adding application icons to additional KDE panels

Hi all

I have added an additional panel to the top of my screen and would like to add shortcuts to applications to it. Now, Kickoff > Applications > "right click Application's name" > Add to panel, adds the application's icon to the default bottom panel. However, there seems to be no option to add applications to additional panels. Does anyone know how this can be done?

Cheers

Try this: Make sure your widgets are unlocked. Now goto menu and drag and drop it on the new panel.

Nope that's not really it as I am not trying to add widgets but applications such (firefox, kwrite, konsole) etc. Anyway I have just figured it out. I added a new "Application Launcher Menu" (Kickoff widget) to the new panel and reckoned since the application menu was launched from that panel, then the "Add to panel" context menu would use that panel as its parent. That worked fine .
