Ok, I'm still trying to get this to work. I know if i don't use ide-scsi and just use hdd I can mount a cd in my cdrw, but then i can't burn cds. Now if i use ide-scsi and run cdrecord -scanbus it does list my cdrw, but i can't mount a cd in that drive. Is this the way it is suppose to work? I would like to do both.
