Adding a kernel to iso?

Is there some way to add a kernel to an iso?
Or update the one on the iso?

I am trying to install Slackware(x32) 13.1.

EDIT: forgot to mention, I'm on windows 7. no access to linux outside of a vm.

I want to add linux kernel 2.6.36 to see if that fixes a problem I have with linux.
The iso is slackware-13.1-install-dvd.iso from slackware.com mirror
I cannot boot or install (outside of wubi) any linux distro that I have downloaded (Ubuntu, Mint, Debian, Gentoo, Arch, and now Slackware).
It always says either:
kernal_thread_helper+0x7/0x10
or if I boot with 'acpi=off pci=noapci':
BUG:softlockup - CPU#0 stuck for 61s! [modprobe:{4-digit number}]

Ignore that above. I got it to boot.
(Translation: I am an idiot that has just learned how to read.)
