Accidentally hit unknown key combination, now KDE has duplicated my desktops?
I somehow hit some unknown key combination, and now I seem to have 2 sets of desktops. At first I thought I accidentally logged myself off and back on somehow, because suddenly all of my applications were gone. But my backgrounds had reset to the default, and then when I tried to open a Skype window (which was active before hitting the key combination) it switched back to the set of desktops that I was using before, with all my windows and applications open as they were.
I'm now also getting 2 sets of desktop notifications from gmail.
I have no idea how to switch between them, other than activating a window from my system tray, which seems to span all sets of desktops, or how to delete the one I accidentally created.
Any idea what the name of the feature I accidentally enabled is (so I can learn about it)? And, even better, how I can delete the set of desktops I accidentally created?
Thanks!

afaiu,
it's a feature.
it's called "multiple desktops" or just "desktops" or "workspaces".
your panel should have the ability to add a "workspace switcher".
once you start using this feature, you never want it to go away anymore.
you can have many more desktops - 4 are often the default, i use 6, but there's no limit i'm aware of.

Yeah, sorry I should have made that clearer.
I have 2 SETS of desktops. Meaning, I use 9, and now suddenly I have 2 separate sets of 9 desktops.
Edit: also I can't "see" the other set. I know it's there because I found myself on it unexpectedly, with no open applications and the default background image. And, I was switched back to my original set by activating an application from the system tray. And, I'm getting 2 separate desktop notifications from gmail.

check out your virtual desktop settings, either you added a row / column... or you put another pager on there somehow. either way, the answer is in the virtual desktop settings off the widget (pager settings)

Again, it's definitely not my virtual desktops, or the pager that allows me to switch between them. I have two completely separate "sets" of 9 desktops. The pager displays the applications in the 9 desktops that I'm using now, as expected. I can't "see" or access the other set of desktops at all.
It's almost like KDE gave me an entirely new session altogether.
Maybe this is a bug and not a feature?

Did you accidentally add a new activity? There should be an "Activity Manager" on your panel - if not, add it - that should let you switch, add, and delete activities. It looks like three dots, at least in oxygen. The task manager has options to show windows from only the current activity or all activities. That sounds to me like what you're describing.
