A Change in the Weather....

Have you ever had that odd feeling "the stars have lined up" and "something" was about to happen? Storm? Earthquake? ???

sevendogsbsd 04-30-2020 01:30 PM

Not really, except when I log into my FreeBSD workstation and everything smooths out and I feel at peace...:hattip: Of course that means I am off work and just shutdown my Windows 10 laptop so have been fighting with a nasty mess...

Unless I completely misunderstood your post, in which case I must say "never mind!" :)

The weather changes?

sevendogsbsd 04-30-2020 01:35 PM

Here in Texas, the weather changes every 10 minutes it seems...

Richard Cranium 04-30-2020 01:36 PM

The winds of changelog aren't hinting at anything extra-special.

It never seems to change on this side. It's always HOT and DRY.

Ah, I am in south central and it's hot and dry now, but was raining and windy yesterday. 90 one day, 50 the next in March...after 20 years, I have grown used to it :)

Gloomy and raining here in coal country Pennsylvania. Watching the gold finches attack the bird feeder.

Yes, a hurricane --> in the economic realm...

Sunny and 70s in Salt Lake City. My new grass seed I put down almost 2 weeks ago is finally starting to grow!

I'm expecting that my favourite BSD will release a new version tomorrow.
During this pandemic I regularly feel unsettled; I do not entirely trust my feelings these days. I am grateful to be safe, I have enough food, and my family is healthy.

Hear, hear.

In my forage area, the leeks are plentiful, and MORELS!!! have recently appeared, 4 weeks of God's gift to our eden, magic 'shrooms in the culinary sense.

Climate change is indeed real, it is called seasons and we are heading into summer (unless you are on the lower hemisphere), which then you will have winter :p.

I have rented a town house in 10 Mile Road in Southfield, Michigan during a few months in 1987 and did observe sudden weather changes. One day people in bath suits along the pool, the next day snow.

Fortunately this was a quiet place then (we were just told to lock the car's doors when crossing downtown Detroit).

Now this. O tempora, O mores!
