9.1 + inetd


Hi.... I have noticed that the slackware 9.1 has inetd daemon.... The problem is that i want the xinetd because it is better than the inetd... Have u heard something like that or not?

Where i can fine the xinet package?

I don't know if it's better or not (it seems to be, but I've never tried it), but you can get the source and some tutorials here: http://www.xinetd.org/
There's a package available but for Slack 10 so you'll have to compile it.
