Hi all,

I am currently use Slackware 12.2 and the default jre is 6. But one of programs i am using requires java 1.5. Are any ways i can install jdk 1.5 without removing jdk 6.

Just download the .bin for the version you want directly from java.com and extract it to someplace like /opt/jdk15. Java programs typically allow you to set the path for the correct java executables, so just point it at the location you extracted to and you should be set...
