2.6.11.7 kernel upgrade errors

hey all, quick question
I've recently made my first attempt to upgrade my kernel from the standard slack 10.1 kernel to 2.6.11.7. All has worked well, save a few issues.

My ethernet card is not found. I looked through the startup messages and found the following errors:

FATAL: module ide_scsi not found
FATAL: module agpart not found
FATAL: module ne2k-pci not found

The ne2k-pci module is obviously the issue regarding my ethernet card, but I would like to clear up the others (especially agpart) as well.

I searched through xconfig (I'm using this for kernel options) but couldn't find any of the three.

Anyone have any advice for me?

With 2.6 kernel you're going to use ide-cd instead of ide-scsi, so upgrade the
relevant line in lilo.conf

I would suggest use make menuconfig instead of xconfig and enter the search mode
by typing " / " , then enter a keyword in the field (try enter "agp", "ne2k"...)

Sometimes i get the agpgart and ide_scsi errors, but the modules load up anyway. I think it has to do when you enable them as 'built in' in the kernel, and when it tries to modprobe them while booting, it gets that error. I'm slightly confused with this issue, but i think it's somewhere along that line.

Can i ask what network card you have?
Code:
lspci

/etc/rc.d/rc.modules is probably trying to load these modules on startup, just comment out the appropriate lines.
