13.0 means 13.1 beta ?

As in the subject.

It seems that situation is similar as in the 12.0 realese. The
first stable was 12.1.

I installed 13.0 but I do not use it. I still prefere to use
12.2.

I concider to install 13.0 on my second computer. But decided
to wait for 13.1 alpha.

It means that wingevil is regarding your post as trolling. Or from Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troll_%28Internet%29:
Quote:
In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional or disciplinary response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.
To see footnotes, surf to the Wikipedia article.

Posting a negative comment about something without giving any reasons for your opinion is most often considered trolling.

If you are not able to cope with the changes (that other distros have included as well) like KDE 4.2 or the new X-Server without xorg.conf you are free to stay with an older release. The same is true for Slackware 12.0 which included besides other changes the first 2.6 kernel for Slackware and udev. Have you even thought about if it is an upstream problem (like an yet maturing udev in the past) or just a problem on your side to cope with the last changes (for example the new KDE)?

13 is not Beta 13.1

And there IS a 12.0

And there is a "spell-checker" for posts.

Zero for three...Wow. I'm actually impressed...

No facts, three errors, and only a troll left.

Almost sounds like a Cubs baseball game....But the Cubs are based in reality. They lose all the time, but are reality based. (P.S. I'm a born Cubbie fan. Not a blast on them. But they ARE America's 'Lovable Losers')

Not sure what you mean here. As my name panel shows - I run 12.0 and have since release with no problems at all. Slackware doesn't release early, buggy versions and never has.
