Have you tried the xf86-video-ati or the xf86-video-r128 drivers? I use the latter for my 32meg rage 128.

No experience with that card although googled around a bit.

r128 not working?

if you are using an explicit xorg configuration i think you must as: https://www.libreoffice.org/bugzilla...g.cgi?id=72974.. once you generate one please post it.

Might be of some interest (the second for an idea of how your xorg.conf should look):

http://vanilla.slitaz.org/index.php?...not-radeons/p1
http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=106834

happy new year.. as i probably will not follow up here until the new year (if needed)

edit: i posted after i noticed guub or your response
you have them installed if you installed the entire x directory. to check `ls /var/log/packages/ | grep xf86`

Addtionally: follow the links from that debian thread .. I would try to merge the proposed configuration with that off the xorg.conf mentioned on the debian thread itself.

if you want more help from others i would post your x logs. Need something to base a debunking on
