10.2 unable to resume.

I've done a clean install on my machine from 10.1 to 10.2 then upgraded KDE and X from the newer packages in slackware-current (X is now 6.9.0)
when I was running slack 10.1 I could resume my laptop fine, not when I resume I get either a black screen or a screen with black and white lines alternating. /var/log/mesages shows what looks like a normal resume, no errors at all.
System is a Dell latitude C400 with intel i830 video, worked fine under slackware 10.1.

Have you reran xorgsetup. That might help reconfigure the new X-windows for you.

looks like its a bug in Xorg6.9 for the intel i810 driver. I'm going to try to get kde 3.5.1 working without upgrading X as 6.8.2 still works fine, when I tried the newer kde packages before I needed to upgrade X for some reason.
