[SOLVED] Can I install Slack 14.1 from samba, booting with an older dvd?

Hi everyone.

I'd like to install slackware 14.1, but I want to save a dvd (actually my dvd-writer does not write anymore, but it reads ok)

So the question is... can I boot with slack 14.0 or 13.37 dvd installation, and then pick a samba share as source with the 14.1's packages on it?

Thanks

This is a very nice feature of Slackware actually. The installer only gets minor tweaks, so you can generally use any recent installer to install some other recent Slackware version.
