[gcc] internal error: segmentation fault

Just as a matter of interest, is anybody else getting these with gcc-3.2.1? (Slackware-current 20021213) I occasionally get these with larger packages like LyX and Mozilla, and if I just type "make" again the build continues. What bothers me a little is that my /tmp is mounted on a harddrive that may be on its way to retirement.
BTW, these are not sig 11 errors due to flaky RAM.

Can't say I've experienced this, mind you poor CPU cooling can cause this king of thing (ala sig 11 as you've mentioned). Is this a consistant fault or does it only happen sometimes?

cheers

Jamie...

CPU cooling might be an issue. I'll be installing slack-current on a new (woohoo) machine soon, so I'll be able to test that. Hopefully I'll be able to make an intelligent reply then ;-p.

I only get those errors if i overclock a little too much, or
I turn the fans down too low, and the weather gets
warmer. So i second the cooling answer.
