[Fluxbox] How I can get panel like this?

http://fluxbox.sourceforge.net/image...vlaadworld.jpg

There is in left corner that panel that has time, xmms controls and etc..So where I can get that? :)

That'd be gkrellm. Get gkrellm, and you'll have something akin to that. (There are a few things you'll have to change/add to get the xmms controls... and there's a theme). If I find the theme, I'll edit this post and add the link.

that is just a bunch of seperate dockapps. try dockapps.org or similar sites for loads of them.

nope, sorry... it always used to be, then it became superkaramba, but that's just dock apps.

Gkrellm is already in slackware..
It's under Multimedia -> X-utils -> gkrellm
Or run gkrellm in shell.

acid_kewpie 09-17-2007 02:04 AM

erm, yeah that's *STILL* not gkrellm...

I agree, it is not gkrellm (although I think gkrellm is better).

It might be this one:
http://freshmeat.net/projects/xrg/

I'm not sure. I remember seeing it once when searching for system monitors, but I chose gkrellm instead because it has more features.

acid_kewpie 09-17-2007 04:03 AM

i've said twice now that's it is just a handful of seperate dockapps...

mdg 09-17-2007 04:13 AM

My vote is dockapps too

gnashley 09-17-2007 11:01 AM

I can tell just from the link that it's gonna be DockApps. Vlaad (Carlos Torres, I think) is a long-time contributor/enthusiast of wmaker.
Not sure exactly wghich ones they are except for the one in the middle, wmcdplay, which I also use.
You can find quite a few DockApps on my site which have all been updated for current versions of wmaker and gcc. Of course, you can use these with fluxbox, icewm, afterstep and wmaker, or other window managers.
There are sources and packages both:

Yup. DockApps. That's what Fluxbox's slit is for, after all...

AtomicAmish 09-17-2007 07:52 PM

The one on top is called WMND, and it's at dockapps.org. Second from the top is either wmmon or WMgMon. They should be there, too. I don't know the others.

You can't tell the way it's shown here, but each one is square. They're just piled on top of each other.

gnashley 09-18-2007 02:21 AM

I have wmnd on my site:

On a different note, how is that guy able to read that terminal font?

stitchman 09-19-2007 07:15 AM

i know its not flashy but i prefer Conky as my system monitor, heres a screeny of mine (its completely configurable with a simple text file, just like slack heh).
