I haven't been able to get Shumway to work on hardly any flash based website though. Not sure if I'm have it installed correctly.

Heh...I just happened to try that a few days ago. It's *much* faster than seamonkey or firefox starting up and all, but there were certain websites I'd go to that if I opened a link in a separate tab, it would crash icecat with no warnings and no messages even saying it crashed. It'd just disappear as if I'd closed it. Unfortunately I'd got a little frustrated as I was really needing some info at one particular website it kept crashing at and I can't remember where it was or I'd have reported a bug for it.

I wasn't too happy about it using just as much RAM though as seamonkey or firefox. All three of them use at a minimum 153MB on my system. Yeah, I have 4GB of RAM, but good grief, Dooble uses maybe 50MB and works almost as well as those three big boys, heh.

Ah well, I'll just keep looking and/or hope Dooble just keeps getting better, or maybe even go back to konqueror as it used to be my favorite anyway.

So far it has worked everywhere flash works, except the cbs.com web site (where you can watch various cbs TV shows).
Flash doesn't there either. Well, I should qualify that. Flash will play the commercials, but won't play the TV shows. It chokes when the show starts and says the video I want to view is no longer available. However, I can open Chrome with pepperflash and it plays the same video perfectly well.

Something smells fishy here as flash plays the videos at fox.com.

It boils down to, if you want to view the videos/TV shows at cbs.com, in Linux, you have to run google chrome and I don't trust google anymore than I would trust mickeysoft... They are probably even less trustworthy than mickeysoft.

I found the built in pdf viewer painfully slow, disabled it and use okular
