Kernel 2.4.14

I run a server and have recenetly tried to compile the 2.4.14 kernel and ran into some problems. The configuration is exactly the same as what I used for the 2.4.13 kernel. I am getting an error on one of the last steps of make bzImage with a couple undefined references to 'deactivate_page' in drives/block/block.o. Anyone have any suggestions on how I might fix this? Thanks.

John

The 2.4.14 kernel has broken code that produces I believe that problem. There is a fix that I read over in the Slackware forum here. www.kernel.org may already have a doc out on it as well. I'm sorry I cannot offer the exact fix, but there is one, and you can find it I know at the above address if you do a search.
