Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

Please try to refrain from asking members to be fast, it comes off as being rude and inconsiderate. This is a free forum where members post out of their own free time to help others, we cannot gaurantee an answer at all though we try to answer all questions.
Your questions might be urgent but they are not urgent to others here.

I noted your location, and did not take offense...although I did grit my teeth.
However, the moderator is correct. In English, particularly American English, asking someone to "be fast" is considered rude...as if you were commanding them to hurry...as if you had some kind of authority over us. We are not tied to a caste system here in the US, and we take offense with people who seem to feel superior...
I hope that you didn't mean it this way, but in the future you might want to express your urgency in another way.
Or better yet...since we are all volunteers here...not at all.
Dear friends...
Some problems are here also...
We all are linux - Unix users, still the grudge in the way of replying for a mistake....Just for writing "FAST" - by some guys who think they are volunteers here... So poor... Myself and emmanuel are Indians... and better than the best. It is better to be a human being rather than beasts like the western who think they are always in time! This is an open forum and hence I dont want to express my feeling in a bad manner. But I am conveying one message... all those funny moderator and his junglee supporters.. that East or West India is the best. You can never be like us... You believe in color, money and other fake things... so nothing more to speak and mail..
keep away from us

I wouldn't care if the guy was from Mars, I would have said the same thing to anybody else.
And if you noticed, I believe I was very polite in stating and asking for others not to post their messages as being urgent. I don't see how this relates to who is better than anyone else. I don't believe in that myself. No one is better than anyone else on this site, there is no country, race or religion on this site except Linux.
That's all I got to say.. sorry David, just felt I had to comment since I somehow started this so-called "we are better than you" non-sense.
