need help with install FC2 T2

I need help with the fedora core 2 test 2 install. The cd boots fine and when it is loading the default drivers, (prior to picking what setup i am going to do) it will hang where it says something like this: mice:PS/2 loading mouse software. It will not go past this. Please help! I have a laptop so i can not remove the track pad. Also i have tried to install with an external mouse and still hangs. I have redownloaded and reburned a new CD. PLease assist.

Maybe you could disable the trackpad and hook up a usb mouse. It could be a problem with the ps/2 driver which the touchpad and external ps/2 port use.

After install is complete it should be ok.
